The glamour model and the Argentine hunk - who got engaged last month while on holiday - are not in a rush to tie the knot and they have just been ''enjoying'' their time together as a newly engaged couple.

In a blog post made on her website, Katie said: ''The simple truth is that Leo and I have not set a date and we have made absolutely no plans.

''Leo and I are enjoying being together and being engaged. We are not rushing into a wedding.''

The 33-year-old beauty - who wed Alex Reid in Las Vegas in 2010 after a whirlwind romance, following her split from first husband Peter Andre in 2009, but broke up with the cage fighter just 11 months later - has been in Vegas this month filming her forthcoming US reality show, and earlier this week she was joined by Leandro.

The engaged couple have been French bulldog shopping in the city and the pair also found time to visit Las Vegas' Gun Store, where they spent one hour firing some of the shop's weapons at targets.

In March, Katie claimed she was single despite being regularly seen with Leandro, but her spokesperson confirmed last month that the pair set to wed.

He explained: ''It's true - they are engaged. Leandro proposed to Katie while they were away skiing recently and she said yes.

''They told her children but had intended to keep it secret for a while.

''No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both quite relaxed about that for the time being.''

Katie has two children, Junior, six, Princess, four, with first spouse Peter, while she also has a nine-year-old son Harvey from her relationship with soccer player Dwight Yorke.

Jordan, 33, and her manly fiance have been filming her upcoming US reality show (no one seems sure when it'll be on TV, or what channel, but that's never stopped The Pricey) in Las Vegas and took the chance to go puppy shopping.

Apparently, the couple were looking for a French Bulldog, but could only find a husky puppy. The husky puppy looks thrilled to be meeting such massive stars.

That morning, the engaged celebs had also been to Las Vegas's Gun Store to fire guns - with Jordan asking if they had a pink gun. Weirdly, they had one on hand (almost like they knew she'd be coming!) and they spent an hour doing target practice before going for a Mexican lunch at Don Torta Tacos.

What a day, eh? We can only hope that Katie and Leandro, 26, run into the other celebs hanging about in Vegas this week - Coleen and Wayne Rooney are at the Wynn Hotel, and Cheryl Cole was spotted leaving yesterday. Possibly because she'd heard Katie had arrived.

In an blog post made on her website, Katie slammed wedding rumours which she claimed had been stirred up magazines, saying that the media were being 'taken for a ride'.

The glamour model, who used to be married to singer Peter Andre and then cage fighter Alex Reid, wrote: 'There has been a lot of speculation in the magazines about Leos and my wedding plans. I can assure you that these stories are all made up and are being published despite very simple denials from me.

Now magazine had previously reported a source as saying Price wanted a big winter wedding with a giant Christmas tree, and that she wanted her daughter Princess to dress as a snow angel.

The source continued: 'Her horses will be white with pink antlers, while her boys Harvey and Junior will be dressed as elves.'

But Katie has stated that 'none of this is true' , going on to refute claims of a rift with Leo's mother.

The mother of three instead says the couple are simply 'enjoying being together and being engaged'.

She added: 'We are not rushing into a wedding and have made no plans.'

She's been rumoured to be wanting to expand her family with Leandro Penna for the past few months.

And it seems Katie Price is doing just that, but with a pet dog instead of a baby.

The glamour model and her Argentinian model beau were seen shopping for dogs in Sin City yesterday as they made the most of their holiday.

Katie looked particularly enamoured with a husky puppy, clinging the canine close to her chest as she appeared to be considering the complications of jetting a new pet back from the States to England.

The mother-of-three wore a pair of tiny purple denim shorts and a white vest top teamed with a pair of huge sunglasses and cowboy boots as she enjoyed the sunshine.

Meanwhile, Leandro dressed down in jeans, a grey T-shirt and brown flip-flops as he walked along hand-in-hand with his fiancée.

And it was a fun-packed day for the pair, who visited a shooting range after their shopping for dogs.

Despite Katie and Leandro being in Las Vegas, the model has denied rumours they are planning to have a quickie wedding in Sin City, after she married now ex-husband Alex Reid back in February 2010.

In a lengthy blog on her management's website entitled My Real Wedding Woe, Katie wrote: 'There has been a lot of speculation in the magazines about Leos and my wedding plans. The simple truth is that Leo and I have not set a date and we have made absolutely no plans.

She added: 'None of this is true and I guess relatively harmless but what is sad is that they then go on to claim that I want "Alex, his fiancée Chantelle Houghton and Pete to all weep with envy". This is not the case.'

Harvey, now aged nine, has septo-optic dysplasia, which has affected his eyesight, as well as behavioural problems, autism and mobility difficulties.

Katie told of the moment she realised Harvey was disabled: “This beautiful looking boy in my arms that couldn’t see, move much or eat... I was worried about the future, but with the support of my family, like others who have gone through this too, you get through it and the pessimistic view can become optimistic... gradually.

“After support from other parents in the same position as me with their children, they gradually gave me the courage to question the doctors. You become a kind of expert, then you ask for more support. You realise you have to push for everything for your wonderful child. This never stops and never will stop. My son is entitled to the best I can offer him and this is the same for every parent of a disabled child – it’s their entitlement.”

Katie, 33, is now pushing to open a new Academy for Harvey and his classmates because their current school doesn't cater for their age group.

“There really are no other schools that provide what Harvey’s school does,” she explains. “There are only four VI schools in the UK that also provide for multiple disabilities along with medical support. Our children will not receive this as standard in any other school offered.”

Katie went on to offer advice for parents in a similar situation: “Do not despair, Don’t just sit there and accept what is offered to your child, get together with other parents and fight for what you want to achieve for your children together. It is possible. If you don’t try you will never know, and it’s the ‘never know’ part that will be with you for the rest of your life. Just do it!”
