Katie Price has done something truly shocking – she’s won a live debate at Cambridge University.

That’s right, you read that correctly. The 33-year-old glamour model defied all odds yesterday to win a highbrow debate at the famous university’s union, which has previously held discussions with the likes of US President Ronald Reagan and Prime Minister Winston.

Price was debating against Boris Johnson’s younger sister Rachel, editor of The Lady, and journalist Liz Jones as she opposed the motion: ‘This house believes the only limit to female success is female ambition.’

And despite forgetting her lines and at times appearing to struggle with reading her notes, the topless model went on to receive a loud cheer for the Cambridge Union at the end of her ten-minute speech.

Speaking about the idea of female success, Price told the Cambridge students that her motto is: ‘There is no such thing as can’t, because I can.’

In responce to Price’s attempts, Johnson made some narky comments about the model’s career, saying: ‘The sky is the limit or in your case a ten part series on Sky called Katie.’

Ms Johnson then added: ‘Katie Price’s novels are for real lovers of literature.’

Still, the last laugh was on Price as she was revealed to be the winner of the debate.

Before the event, President of the Cambridge Union, Katie Lam, explained her decision to invite Price to speak. She said: ‘I decided to invite Katie Price because she’s a prominent public figure who is very popular among and represents the aspirations of a large number of women and girls in the UK, and I thought her perspective would be a valuable one to add to the debate.’

Wonders will never cease!

Katie Price enjoys Miami break with party pal Michael Parnes

USTY Katie Price is easy to spot in Miami as she relaxes by the pool in a polka-dot bikini.

But she had better hope that her host, hunky Michael Parnes, isn’t on the phone to his estranged wife.

Katie, the 33-year-old also known as Jordan, flew out with a girlfriend to spend a few days at the beachside property of the multimillionaire.

And she took the opportunity to top up her tan with a group of pals before she starts filming her latest series of reality TV show Katie on Sky Living.

The glamour girl, newly single after ending her seven-month fling with Argentinian toyboy Leandro Penna, 25, insists she and Michael are just pals, despite rumours of a romance.

But the 31-year-old City financier – who has split from his wife Lucy Clarkson, 29, a Lara Croft model from the Tomb Raider video game series – kept a close eye on his blonde guest at his condo in Icon South Beach, an exclusive development designed by Frenchman Philippe Starck.

Lucy was once involved in a public spat with Katie during a red carpet event, and said: “If I had a message for Jordan, it would be: do my husband a favour and leave him alone.”

Happily for her, Katie didn’t hang about too long in Miami.

The mum of three soon jetted back to the UK for a more urgent matter – launching the *career of model Amy Willerton, 19, who has joined her talent agency after winning the last run of TV series Signed by Katie Price.

As any busy businesswoman will tell you, look after your pennies and the Parnes will take care of themselves.

Katie Price’s management have dismissed rumours suggesting she is to reunite with her ex-husband Peter Andre.

The stories started following a tweet Price sent to Andre just before he returned to the I’m A Celebrity… jungle.

However, Black Sheep Management have denied the claims stating that the couple were communicating “for the benefit” of their children.

They said in a statement: “Time to clear up a few claims made in magazines over the Christmas period. None of the claims were put to us or Kate or are from us.

“1. Kate does not wish to reunite with Pete and knows Pete does not wish to either. Contact between them is for the benefit of the Children.

“2. There are not (never were) plans to spend time together as a family. There are not (never were) plans to film a new reality show together.”

They added that there “are and never were any plans” for Katie to return to Can Associates.

Black Sheep Management hinted: “There are good reasons for these rumours being untrue which will become clear over time.”

Finally, they added: “We are not sure who benefits from these claims being inaccurately made…”

Meanwhile, writing in his new! magazine column, Andre also denied the claims of a reunion.

He said: “I don’t want to be rude or disrespectful, but I feel the need to say that this is absolutely not true and will never happen.

“We are trying to be amicable and build bridges purely for the children’s sakes, but that’s all it is.”

JUST hours into 2012 and Jordan is already causing a stir with her love life…

It seems the 33-year-old model and businesswoman, real name Katie Price, is giving her relationship with Leandro Penna another go.

The ex lovers were caught kissing on a night out at the Kassaba Lounge in North London on Sunday. And things got really physical at the end of the night, when Argentinean hunk Leo bundled Katie into her car.

My source tells me: “It was quite raunchy, they kissed on the dancefloor during the night. They were very smoochy with one another. Things have been hotting up between them for a few weeks.

“The party on Sunday had a bikini theme so there were lots of girls in skimpy swimwear, but Leo only had eyes for Katie. They stayed until about 3am – when Leandro ended up carrying her out to their car.”

But Leo, 26, was obviously in two minds about the whole thing because afterwards he posted some confusingly cryptic messages on Twitter.

He tweeted: “If someone is stupid enough to get away from you, be smart enough to let it go.” Then he followed that comment with: “Life is short: kiss slowly, laugh loudly, love deeply and forgive quickly.”

He and Katie first started dating last February after meeting at Elton John’s Oscars bash. Within months they had got tattoos of each other’s names.

But the language barrier got in the way – Katie does not speak Spanish and Leo speaks little English.

They used Google translate to type messages to each other on their phones and even hired a translator. But although they both clearly spoke the language of love it all got too much and they split up in October.

Recently, mum-of-three Jordan has been linked with Michael Parnes – whose estranged wife Lucy Clarkson hit out at the model last week.

Meanwhile, rumours that a reunion with ex-hubby Peter Andre was on the cards were scuppered after the pair fell out again just before Christmas.

I don’t know. It’s hard to keep up…
