Katie Price issues statement via website
“I appreciate to some it may seem strange that I should feel aggrieved by aspects of the recent press coverage of my marriage to Alex. Some will feel that adverse stories are the price I have to pay for living my life so openly. However, I need to respond to recent series of stories that Alex and I are on the verge of or have split.
These stories originated in one Sunday paper which was told they were false before they published them, but they published them in any event. A Daily paper then wanted to follow up on that story and was told that the allegations made were false but that Daily paper still published them.
There have been a number of other repetitions of these claims by paper’s which have been made aware that the stories were false but, again, still published them. Either these publications have a source that is taking them for a ride or they don’t care if they mislead their readers. Constantly publishing these fabrications despite being told they are just that is hurtful and harassing.
My lawyers are already dealing with some of these stories but for the avoidance of doubt:
1. Alex and I are not constantly arguing.
2. I have not run away to Portugal to escape the rows that Alex and I are not having. I am on a family holiday and Alex is not here because he is training for his fight against Tom Watson.
3. Alex has not left me, threatened to leave me or confronted me about my ex-husband, Amir Khan or any other man. Alex is secure in the knowledge that I love him as I am in the knowledge that he loves me.
4. Peter Andre is the father of two of my children. I respect him and have contact with him in that capacity. I do not wish to get back with Peter and Peter does not wish to get back with me. We have both moved on with our lives.
5. I am not pregnant.
I hope this puts an end to the false stories that are being published.”
Thank you

Ghost Hunting With Katie And Alex
How’s this for a fright-fest?

Katie Price, hubby Alex Reid and their pals Gary Cockerill and Phil Turner will join ghost hunting legend Yvette Fielding to chase ghouls in a haunted manor house.
The frightful foursome will appear on ITV2′s Ghost Hunting With… this Saturday and viewers are in for a terrifying treat as the glamour model and her nearest and dearest navigate the spooky rooms in the ancient building in the search for paranormal activity.
As always, Jordan’s not easily impressed and spends the whole programme laughing and giggling, convinced theer aren’t any spirits present.
Cage fighter Alex, however, isn’t quite so brave and snaps at Kate that she is ‘taking the piss’. Booohooo…
But it seems that the ghosts aren’t particularly keen on the glamour girl either. When the group gather around a ouija board to communicate with the dead, Jordan is told to leave and go to the attic (the ‘naughty attic’ maybe?).
As soon as the mum-of-three leaves, the paranormal activity starts. A stone gets thrown across the room and the group hears the sound of babies crying.
Gary, Jordan’s best pal and make-up artist, comments: ‘This is weird. Kate’s disappeared and things have started to happen. Maybe it was them trying to get rid of her?’
Hmm… Maybe the ghosts were scared of The Pricey?
Ghost Hunting With Katie and Alex and Friends airs on ITV2 Saturday, August 21st, 10pm
Katie @ The Expandables Premiere
THE EXPENDABLES is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger the men struggle with an even tougher challenge, one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.
Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) is a man with nothing to lose. Fearless and void of emotion, he is the Leader, the Sage and the Strategist of this tight-knit band of men who live on the fringe. His only attachment is to his pickup truck, his seaplane and his team of loyal modern-day warriors. His is a true cynic who describes what he does as “removing those hard to get at stains”. The team behind him is made up of Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), former SAS and a savant with anything that has a blade; Yin Yang (Jet Li), a master at close-quarter combat; Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), who has known Barney for ten years and is a long-barrel weapons specialist; Toll Road (Randy Couture), a skilled demolitions expert and considered the intellect of the group; and Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), a combat veteran and an expert in precision sniping who struggles with his own demons.
When the mysterious Church offers Barney a job no one else would take, Barney and his team embark on what appears to be a routine mission: overthrow General Gaza (David Zayas), the murderous dictator of the small island country of Vilena and end the years of death and destruction inflicted on its people. On a reconnaissance mission to Vilena, Barney and Christmas meet their contact Sandra (Giselle Itie), a local freedom-fighter with a dark secret. They also come to learn who their true enemy is: rogue ex-CIA operative James Monroe (Eric Roberts) and his henchman Paine (Steve Austin). When things go terribly wrong, Barney and Christmas are forced to leave Sandra behind, essentially giving her a death sentence. Haunted by this failure, Barney convinces the team to return to Vilena to rescue the hostage and finish the job he started. And to perhaps save a soul: his own.
Katie Price Signs Deal to Write New Autobiographies
In addition to admitting that her next autobiography will come out in October, the wife of cage-fighter Alex Reid also reveals that she will start filming her new TV series straight thereafter.
Katie Price has signed a deal to write a new series of autobiographies. The British star releases her fourth autobiography in October but has agreed to pen more tomes on her life after that. She said, “My next autobiography comes out in October and then I start filming my new TV series straight away. So I’m pretty busy as always! Then I’ve got another book deal to do another autobiography.”
Katie, who this week released her latest novel “Paradise”, hopes to be able to bring out an update on her life story every couple of years because she knows there is huge interest in what she does. The former glamor model, who is married to cage-fighter Alex Reid, told BANG Showbiz, “The publishers might want them yearly, every two years, because they’re big successes and there’s always a story to tell. Everyone will just have to wait and see!”
The last two years have seen many changes in Katie’s life with her divorcing Peter Andre in 2009 and marrying Alex in February 2010 in a private Las Vegas ceremony. The couple also had their union blessed earlier this month at a church near their Surrey home. And as well reading about her life, Katie’s fans could soon be about to see her story told on the big screen.
The 32-year-old brunette beauty, who has three children, Harvey, eight, Junior, five, and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii, from her previous relationships, said, “There are producers who want to start doing the film once the next book is out in October. I’ve already got a director and producer in America.”

Kym March Defends Katie Price
Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has defended Katie Price and Alex Reid for filming their recent wedding blessing.
The actress revealed that she understood why the couple have come across as “desperate”.
Writing in her new! magazine column, she said: “Katie Price and Alex Reid have come under fire for saying they wanted a private blessing and then broadcasting it on their show, ‘Katie & Alex: For Better For Worse’.
“I think problems arise when you try too hard to show people that everything’s OK.
“By having it filmed, people have concluded that they’re desperate.”
She added: “My advice is to let people say what they want. As long as they know they’re happy, that’s all that matters.”
At the start of the year Marsh used her column to say the people should stop giving Price “a hard time” following her February wedding.
She said: “I’m really pleased for them. I think they are very good for each other.
“I just wish everyone would stop giving Katie such a hard time, and give up on all this Team Price or Team Andre business. People split up all the time!”
