New deal … Jordan

JORDAN has landed a multi-million pound deal with Living TV – making her one of the UK’s highest paid telly stars – after a fierce bidding war with ITV2.

After being locked in a week-long battle with the rival TV companies, the glamour girl will defect in November in a deal thought to be worth £5million.

Her popular reality series What Katie Did Next will continue but she’s also set to take on other projects in the two-year deal.

They will include a new entertainment series consisting of six one-hour episodes fronted by the mum-of-three.

It’s a huge boost for her production company Pricey Media, which will now become the largest independent producer for Living, which is run by Virgin Media Television.

The next series of her reality show – which picked up record ratings for ITV2 – is expected to air next year.

The programme landed impressive audience figures for the channel, peaking at 1.8million viewers, often making it the most watched programme on the multichannel stations.

Katie’s new contract starts when her current deal with ITV2 ends later this year.

Pricey Media managing directors Mark Wagman and Jane Robinson said: “Viewers continue to be fascinated by Katie Price, and we are delighted that this new deal offers the perfect springboard to evolve her television career as well as grow and develop our media business in partnership with VMtv who have given Pricey Media the creative freedom and scope to develop some really exciting new projects for their channels.”

Katie Price is determined to ensure that her forthcoming marriage blessing will be a classy affair, a report has claimed.

According to The Sun, the glamour girl wants the ceremony to be different from her extravagant wedding to Peter Andre and has issued a “no bling” warning in order to achieve her aim.

The 32-year-old is also expected to see the final design for her dress this week after reportedly insisting on a “sophisticated look” for the big day.

A source said: “This time she’s going to be a lot more understated. There will also be no sit-down meal and instead she is going for a buffet-style dinner. She wants a ball rather than a disco for a party.”

Price tied the knot with cage fighter Alex Reid in Las Vegas four months ago. They have said that they are planning their second ceremony to give family and friends a chance to see them exchanging their vows.

The couple confirmed last week that their nuptials will be filmed as part of a new ITV2 series.

JITTERY bride-to-be Jordan is totally RSV-Peeved – because all the big stars are turning down invitations to her latest wedding.

The News of the World can reveal the DD glamour model is in a panic that the event will be a Z-list disaster after a host of A, B and C-listers declined.

She’s also pulled out of a big-bucks deal with a downmarket mag because she can’t get enough famous guests.

Now she’s even thinking of PAYING stars to be there when she marries cross-dressing cage fighter Alex Reid.

Last night a friend of the couple revealed: “This is Katie’s worst nightmare. It’s hugely embarrassing for her.”

So far her bridesmaid Michelle Heaton, model Danielle Lloyd and glamour model Emma B are the only celebs to agree to be at the secret venue on July 3.

But Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding – bridesmaid at her wedding to Peter Andre – won’t go. This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, England captain Steven Gerrard and wife Alex, and Davina McCall said no.

And it is also thought Simon Cowell is planning to politely decline. Jordan even invited exes Dane Bowers and Gareth Gates, but both sent their regrets.

Last week Jordan got mad when bosses at ITV2, who are filming the event, asked Alex to boost the guest list through his Celebrity Big Brother links.

However, Vinnie Jones turned down the invite, and Alex, 34, had no better luck when he asked US CBB housemates Stephen Baldwin and Sisqo.

Chat show host Alan Carr, who had the couple on his show, and former Sugababe Keisha Buchanan have yet to reply.

And Jordan – real name Katie Price – is considering HIRING stars. A pal said: “She’s thinking about booking Sugababes or The Saturdays to perform. It will help because they’ll count as well known guests.

“Her wedding to Peter was a real star-studded bash, but it’s the opposite this time,” said the pal.

Katie Price has reportedly bought a new home costing £2m.

The model, 31, will allegedly use the house as the setting for her televised marriage blessing with Alex Reid.

A friend told The Sun: “It’s the perfect setting for their ceremony and afterwards it will be a place they can both call home.”

The pair plan to move in to the West Sussex property just days before the second wedding ceremony, planned for July 2.

It is also reported that Price plans to build a swimming pool in the home’s grounds for her son Harvey, 8.

Model Katie Price and her husband Alex Reid have signed a $888,600 (6600,000 pounds) deal for their wedding blessing ceremony to be telecast on British entertainment channel ITV.

The blessing ceremony, to be held next month, will be filmed for ITV 2 as a three-part series called ‘For Better For Worse’. The show will follow the couple during preparations for their summer wedding bash, the blessing ceremony and their honeymoon, reports thesun.co.uk.

‘It’s going to be great sharing this fantastic day with my friends and family. I can’t wait to celebrate our love for each other again,’ Price said.

‘Katie and I are really looking forward to spending our special day with family and close friends. Seeing her walk down the aisle again and being able to share it with the people we love will make this truly memorable,’ Reid said.

The couple’s decision to let the cameras in to cover the ceremony contrasts with their relative secret marriage in Las Vegas, February.

Katie Price has revealed that she is to release her debut solo single next month.

The star made the admission in a post on her Twitter account.

Price tweeted: “I can at last reveal my first solo single is out monday 12 july i love the tune an hope you guys do to xxx (sic)”

No other information about the track was revealed.

The glamour model previously released an album with ex-husband Peter Andre. A Whole New World peaked at number 20 in the UK charts.
